I was invited for a Radio Interview with HAWAIIAN 105 KINE Radio Station in November with Billy V ~ on his Morning Show.....

Can't wait, we'll talk about "Vegas Cine Fest", My Bio ~ and anything about Hawaii (where I grew up) ~ and just have a FUN time ~ it will be at the California Hotel & Casino by the Buffet ~ and it will be in front of an audience of passing through, and stopping by to watch ~

Why do I blog ~ it started off as a hobby. I had no intention of having any publicity about it, it was for close family & friends to find me, since I travel alot.....

One day I googled myself, (the unthinkable ~ right)? ~ Well, I did and I found my name as one of the TOP Bloggers in Los Angeles....I was caught off guard.

I went back to my own blog, to analyze why would it make it in the TOP 100 Bloggers list from Los Angeles,http://sparkah.com/2010/12/05/media-las-top-100-non-celebrity-bloggers-you-should-take-to-lunch/ (#56)~because I don't have a large following, and I never promoted myself as a Blogger.

So, I went through every blog I posted and I realized, not to sound full of myself, I was going everywhere with it, covering different Topics from Showbusiness to Real Estate, Food, & included Personal family Pics ( I was scattering around with it) ~ so I overall, I sounded pretty Cool ( to me, Scatter is Uber Cool) .... If I didn't know myself, I would think this person is interesting & colorful.....

When I took some writing classes in College, one of my teachers did compliment my Journal. He said I had the skills and talent for writing......and if I ever thought of becoming a writer....not really.

I am beginning to write more now ~ I had to come up with a Storyline for a Commercial recently ~ and My husband loved the idea and ran with it.....it started off as a vision, from there I filled in the rest of the story....

Anyway ~ I am off to Bloggie World next week in Los Angeles ~ anyone else attending....?

~ Facts about "Vegas Cine Fest 2011 ~ by Mia Marcus

Hello & Welcome!

As one of the Co-founders of "Vegas Cine Fest" ~ there has been a LOT of Press and articles about us, and I just wanted to clarify some of the information you have been reading.....

First of all, Marketing was handled by different people that wanted to be involved with the festival, and no one was paid. But, there is information that is out there that are not true and was never properly authorized & confirmed by the organizers...

There is No Ambassadress of the Film Festival. There was no confirmation of anyone having that title for this festival. There was not suppose to be ANY hosts ~ The Red Carpet was not appropriately handled.

The ONLY Producer of the Film Festival are the founders, Maria & Philip Marcus ~ Everyone else was a Volunteer....if they gave them selves titles, it was done so without the proper authorization of "Vegas Cine Fest" or its' founders or Board members....

Th Awards Show was produced by Philip Marcus....everyone else was a volunteer that was NOT paid. If someone is telling you they had a title, then they are telling you something incorrect.

There were several areas of Marketing that was covered. Again, no one was paid, and it was ALL volunteer.

Arrived this morning on the "Red Eye" from Honolulu to Las Vegas..... and it was raining, just a little drizzle, but colder......brrrr!

Whew, there is a cold front for the next few days, and it is a bit chilly ~ from Honolulu to Vegas ~ glad to be back in Vegas for a few days.....

Yes, I am in Honolulu, Hawaii ~ next week we head to Kauai.....it's been Nice, relaxing and just plain simply put, stress-free (for the most part).
