Las Vegas World Market Center...2011 by Mia Marcus

Ahhhhh, the World Market Center ...

Philip's Favorite store? ONLY in sharing his first Name, Haaaa! "every piece a conversation"....FREE cakes & drinks! Haaa!

From the TOP of the escalators, and there's a LOT of them, as well as elevators, Kool!

It's a table missing the glass top....True story:
We looked at this coffee table, I was wondering how the heck you can use it, since there is not enough room for drinks, etc....Philip says to me, you have to put a glass over it then use it as a table, I said "ooooooooooh", my blonde hair is affecting my brain.

Only $500.....a little girl's Castle Bed....

Networking & Free Grub out in the middle of the buildings of The World Market..brrrr

Another great view from atop the escalators....looks nice close up too!

Ahhhhh, a Bed for the Modern Couple....?

Don't know why we took this picture, would think it would be too scary for children to look at...

Nice to hang out when you are tired....

More beds.......does this one spin? Nope.

Interesting Bed....

This was the building on the left....

The Carriage Bed, I think it's a Bird Cage!

The floors of the World Market, see how they easily layer with different texture & design, do you get it yet?

Hi Everyone,

While I been busy working on the Film Festival, Phil went to The Las Vegas Market today, and later this evening went back with him to attend the Networking Events & Parties....

I've been to the Design Mart in Los Angeles last year, and this is my first time to this one in Las Vegas, and I have to say after visiting a few showrooms, they ALL begin to look alike, the furniture, the buyers & the vendors, BUT Now I know where to go when I want to purchase WHOLESALE...

I can see why this place is popular, you get great Ideas & Inspiration. One thing that I did notice though, as My husband and I walked around, it ain't NO RED CARPET event, and we got a kick out of walking around and people watching.

Everyone seem to walk with such pride and importance to them, then I notice they almost ALL dress alike. They all look like Interior decorators, if that makes any sense.

We loved the furniture (some of them) we are more into the Modern look, and Euro look, since my husband is from Paris (France) - I did learn from a few people we met, that most of the people attend also make periodic trips to China, where it is cheaper. But, it is amazing what the mark ups are on these things really are.

The salespeople are eager, and standing there in front of the showrooms, ready to offer you drinks and cakes, etc.....we jokingly asked, do you sell cars too?

Anyway, The Market is from Jan. 24-28, lots to see, just glad we live here, that we can see it everyday.

Enjoy the pics...!
