... A Day Off @ Port Angeles, Wa.....Philip Marcus.....

Hi Everyone,

Philip had a day off today - actually the Whole Production took a Day off. So - Philip went to Port Angeles, which is across Victoria Island, Canada....

Later he goes back to the Little Village they are staying @ called - Lower Elwha....where they are ruffing it til they get to Seattle.....

Production, I heard is going very well , except for a couple snafu's....which is almost always expected...

But, other than that - Great "Raw" Footage, it's looking Very Very Good! ;-)

Can't wait to see the Material....and how this will be edited....Looking forward!!!

There are soooo many "Talented" Stars out there - it would take me forever to list them!

But, I do have a Personal List of Favorites. I have to say, I'm also very Visual, and everyone has a different idea on what and why they like someone - either based on Looks or Personality and Talent. But here is a list of some of my favorite Stars!

Men:

Johnny Depp - always liked him since "21 Jumpstreet" - Very Creative
Keanu Reeves - Liked him in "The Matrix" Franchise - Cooool
George Clooney - Liked him in "Welcome to Collinwood"
Brad Pitt - Because he's "Brad Pitt"
Mark Wahlberg - Liked him since his Dance Music Hip Hop Days - and was Very Smart to Produce "Entourage" - I use to see his "Real Entourage" in LA back when.
Paul Walker - Liked him from "Fast and the Furious" - Good Aura
Clint Eastwood - Because he's "Clint Eastwood".

I could go on....but, these are my Top favorites.


Women:

Angelina Jolie - Because she's "Angelina Jolie", and is Smart!
Isla Fisher - "Confessions of a Shopaholic" - she is sooo Adorable and lovely!
Sophie Marceau - French Actress - named my Daughter after her. Liked her in "The World is not Enough".
Monica Belluci - Italian Actress - I think she is soo Pretty.
Heather Locklear - I met her & she's more Beautiful in person.
Heidi Klume - Smart Lady!
Brooke Shields - She's Real & I enjoyed watching "Lipstick Jungle". She was my favorite on the Show.

...Off Roading on Father's Day in Las Vegas....

Hi Everyone,

On Father's Day we went to Jean Springs - 1 hour from Las Vegas, close to Primm, Philip wanted to go "Off Roading" - he didn't take us on the really steep hills, but it was quite an adventure!

We also went to where everyone goes ride their ATV's which is across the freeway on the other side, also the same location where they shot "The Hangover" ....it was a Beautiful Day in the desert!

Hi Everyone,

It's funny....when I'm apart from my husband, I hear ......."French Music" - I guess because I have always been fascinated with France....and, there is one particular song, which is sung by Vanessa Paradis ( Johnny Depp's wife) , "La lune brille pour toi"....that I absolutely love - and I always find myself listening to...it is very Romantic, and echoes a sweetness and purity when you begin to fall in Love...

My first time in France, was in 2000 @ The Cannes Film Festival - I was on a Poster for a Film that a distribution company was trying to get pre-sales. It was a huge poster hanging in one of the showrooms @ The Carlton. Sadly, the Movie never made it...but, seeing myself on a huge poster was exciting....it was one of the most exciting times I experienced......I knew I would be back....

2 years later, I met my husband - who's family lives in Paris. The rest, as they say is...history...and now we have a Beautiful 3.5 yr. old daughter....and I still listen to Vanessa Paradis version ' La lune brille pour toi '......it brings warmth to my heart and my love for the French Culture...and My Husband...

Overcast today in Hawaii (Honolulu) , and it rained up here in the Hills!

Philip called this morning, from Portland - Shooting a Documentary, on their way to Seattle with the Cast & Crew....sounded cold, and he sounded tired - hope he doesn't catch a cold from lack of rest and weather change!

My daughter and I miss him already!

Tonight, putting up the duratrans (Transparencies food pics.) for the Restaurant in Waikiki - pricing the dishes now. Would love to open more stores, but when do I have time?

Today bagging stuff for Charity, so far 2 huge bags - love doing this and cleaning out my closet! Feeeels so gooood to give! ;-)

Hope Philip has a safe & smooth road trip to Seattle - he is one of the Producers on this Project.

...Shooting a Documentary...

Well, my husband left today to shoot a Documentary in Seattle for the next 2 weeks!

He had a nice layover in Maui, then off to Portland - then a Road trip to Seattle with the rest of the Cast & Crew...

My daughter and I miss him already!....I know he'll be on a Boat most of the time following those Canoes!

Hi Everyone!

It's been a hectic Sunday afternoon yesterday - ALL day shooting pictures for our Menu Board in Waikiki!

We did it with the convenience of doing it @ home - it was long, time consuming : The Camera, Lights, Props - Food and the Setting up of the Food itself! That took awhile and my back hurts...

We saved thousands of dollars by doing it ourselves - when we first started our Restuarant business in 1986, we use to spend a fortune on Professional Photographers, Shooting in a Studio setting, hiring a Professional Food Layout person to make sure the plates looked Delicious!

Through the years, my sisters and I managed to cut costs, and learn to do it ourselves. It was a Big Plus, when my husband started to join us 4 years ago.

Today, we have to pick the pictures and get the duratrans ordered!

...Another BBQ Day in Hawaii............

It was a pretty windy day here up on the Ridge! But, it was a fun filled day for my niece and her friends!

BBQ, Music, Fun and the Food!

After the BBQ, I hit the excercise bike and lots of Antioxidants! It felt really good! I been cutting down on eating meat the past week, and I actually feel better!

...Hi Everyone!

It was a Beautiful Day to enjoy our Sea Creatures, so we went to "Sea Life Park" on the East Shores of Hawaii!!!

Philip, my daughter, sister & I headed out this morning for a full day of adventure at the Park! The Dolphins were great, so were the Sea Lions and the Penguins!

The Shows were soooo much fun, and it was the perfect day to just enjoy the scenery and environment...
