Las Vegas Int'l Film Festival-date change April 9-12, 2009
Hi everyone!
There was a change in dates for The Las Vegas Int'l Film Festival, instead of Feb. this year - it has been changed to April 9 - 12....please make a note of that!
As you may already know - Philip is one of The judges....and he is also on The Director's Panel this year!

....OSCAR NIGHT!!!!! WooHoo!!!!..............
....WOW! What a great show - Hugh Jackman was perfect as a host....He is so so so talented!!! I really enjoyed the whole show - smaller stage, stars closer to the stage, the decore was stunning, I just loved it!
No real surprises, and everyone looked good! Can't wait for next year..........

Hi Everyone,
I am putting together A New Website: www.efoodguru.com - you may be asking ...why? - why not?.....I'm not implying I know everything about food, but I've been in the restaurant business since 1984, when my family first owned their first dine inn restaurant...Now - (25 years later) - we currently have 3 fastfood chains - all family owned, and still busy! So, I know A thing or two about the food business....
I'll share recipes from Hawaii and abroad - some Local foods I grew up eating in the islands - my love for European food that I share with my husband - he's from Paris (France)!
I'll also be sharing places I love to eat at, my opinion anything to do with food....and other topics related to the food industry.....come and visit me - I'll let you know when the site is done! Happy cooking Everyone - Oh, and Eating too!

...Cine Gear Expo 2009 - Los Angeles....
Hi Everyone!
Don't forget the "Cine Gear Expo" is coming up on June 4- 7, 2009.....
...the last time we went was actually in 2005 (when I was pregnant)! I remembered it was Hot, and I was hungry - we had passes to the VIP parties and Mixers, and the food was great!
...it was a LOT of fun, we got to see some Old friends, and a lot of our PA's working! Philip had sent some of his PA students back then to work in the event..."Thanks" to Mandy ( a person, not the site) - who came calling for Crew, we were more than happy to help!
...we haven't registered yet, Don't know if we'll make it - but - I recommend it, it's one of the BEST events to go to in Los Angeles!

...Reading Scripts.....
Hi Everyone,
Been a few days since I wrote in, BUT I have been busy reading a few scripts - not only for the Short Script Awards Contest.....BUT "Full Length Feature Film Scripts" for Production.
One particular script (can't mention), that really moved me - the writer did a incredible job connecting you to the character. I really liked this script, I hope the "Star"(can't mention) we're giving it to - LOVES IT too!!!
We are crossing our fingers on this one!

...51st Grammy Awards....Feb. 8, 2009
Hi Everyone,
...The other night( 2-08-09) Sunday, my husband and I watched the 51st Grammy Awards, it was OK - Overall - the show was a little flat, and some of the performances was just OK...
Some of my favorites did not perform or win, but that's OK, there's always next year! Right?! Looking forward to some great Music and Songs this year....
Congratulations to ALL the Winners!

I can't believe the Real Estate prices I am seeing here in "Las Vegas" - I have to say it is a "Perfect" time to purchase Real Estate, we're talking about 3-4 bedroom houses for sale - for less than $200,00? in some areas. I feel like we're back in 1998 again!
Despite what's going on in the Market - people are actually buying up foreclosures, short sales, REO's, etc....Many of them First time Buyers, or Investors...
If you're looking to Invest, Buy or Purchase - In "Viva Las Vegas" - I know some "Wonderful" agents that can help you!

...Oh, How we miss "Paris"....My brother in law - Dennis, who lives in Paris, France...sent us this beautiful picture of the neighborhood....it's usually a plush green scenery with trees and lawn, but recently, it's been covered with lots of snow!....
