WOW! - We have a Brand New Design Logo for : The "Short Script Awards" .....It was designed by my brother-in-law - International & Hollywood Graphics Artists & Designer Extroardinaire "Michael Marcus"...

I can't Thank him enough! Michael has worked on hundreds of graphic designs for many Studio Feature Films, TV Shows, Commercials, Film Posters, and so on...he is just so talented and in demand!

Michael is very detail oriented, and of course, to be in this business, very creative - and "Et Voila" - he comes out with - what I call a "Masterpiece' - All the time!....But, of course - nothing but the "Best" from him - he recently worked on "Angels & Demons", which is currently in Post Production - the sequel to "The Da Vinci Code".....check him out on imdb.com, and you'll see his body of work on his "Resume" link - Amazing!!!!

We really appreciate the time & effort he put into making this "logo".....for us!! Merci, Merci, Merci!!

"Thank you", Rich...! I'am talking about Rich, who's "Rich"- Director of "Technology"..! I am talking about Rich D'Amrise, Director of Technology at "Maxell" (Maxell Corporation of America), and Tony Lopez - Engineer Technical Marketing... 

I met Rich at the "CES" Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas। He graciously offer to give me one of their brand new "250GB IVDR drive for our Sony HD Camera's - FANTASTIC ! ("find out what It does).

It just So happens that we may be heading out to Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam on a shoot for one of the cables shows ( can not reveal which one yet!) Anyway we will be puting this rugged little drive through It's paceses and let every one know how It survived in the "REAL WORLD" !!! So stay tuned...

Screen Actor's Guild Awards Show... 2009..tonight!

Tonight is the airing of The 2009 Screen Actor's Guild Awards! Don't forget to watch it..... The 15th Annual Screen Actors Guild will air on Sunday, January 25 at 8 PM ET/PT on TNT & TBS. A second airing of the SAG Awards will air at 11 PM ET/PT on TNT. - I'll give you my comments tomorrow...Enjoy and Have Fun!


....Well, I'm back from watching the SAG Awards tonight, and I have to say, it was a little boring...No real surprises, a little predictable with the outcome, some of my favorites didn't Win, while a few of them did..........Wow, James Earl Jones, so deserved his award...He is a Incredible Actor! Love his voice, didn't realize he did some voice overs for CNN...


I love Meryl Streep's speech after winning - she was so "real", and so sincere! She made me smile when she accepted her Actor Award....Wow - Brad looked like a True Frenchman with his little moustache, which by the way - looks really great on him! Congratulations to ALL the Winners, and the Nominees - can't wait for "The Academy Awards" - !!!!!

....Inauguration 2009....

.....It has been a amazing morning! I'm sure you all have seen the "Inauguration" of Barack Obama! As my husband and I watched unfolding events, we were mesmerized and glued to the TV for this historical event...I look forward to the future with enthusiasm and hope, and that things will greatly improve for ALL of us and our Nation!!!

Las Vegas Int'l Film Festival and Philip Marcus....

...Hi Everyone, The Las Vegas International Film Festival will be held from Feb. 19-22. Philip Marcus - who is my husband just got asked to be one of the judges this year! So, he accepted and went to get his paperwork done...that should be a lot of fun! Can't wait!!!

Sundance Film Festival...... 2009 (Jan. 15-25)

...The Sundance Film Festival kicked off on Jan. 15, and it will last til Jan. 25 this year....my intention was to be there this weekend, and join in on The festivities - at the: SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL .......and you may also check out "The Park City Cam" - SUNDANCE FESTIVAL LIVE WEBCAM .....we always check out The Cam, because we really enjoyed our stay there last time - it's such a cozy atmosphere......and it's a "LIVE" Cam - so, it's really interesting to watch! there is another one at The Marriott, I have to look for it, and post it later...Enjoy!

SAG Awards Voting....2009 (Screen Actor's Guild)

Well, the SAG (Screen Actors Guild) Awards is just around the corner.....I just submitted my ballot today..... The deadline is Jan. 23 - 12 noon. Hopefully, it will get there before the deadline (Everett, WA) . I have my favorites, and I hope they do well! Good Luck to ALL the Nominees... I'm my crossing my fingers! Looking forward to watching it!

Golden Globes 2009

Last night, my husband, Philip Marcus and I watched "The Golden Globes" - we thought the funniest joke of the evening - was when Sasha Baron Cohen (Borat), made a comment about Brad Pitt's movie: Benjamin Button ( movie we were rooting for) - "A movie about looking younger as you get older - a lot like the people in this room" - it was a sarcastic joke, that made us laugh, I choked on my crackers............

Congratulations to All the Winners, and the Nominees for the recognition! "Slumdog Millionaire" took most of the honors this evening, and so did TV Movie - "John Adams", and 2x Globe Winner tonight - Kate Winslet, and of course - Heath Ledger for Batman...and.....

I thought Steven Spielberg's speech on accepting The Cecil B.DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award was great - The Montage of his work was incredible! Can't wait to see who wins at The Academy Awards....

CES (International Consumer Electronic Show) - Las Vegas 2009

My Husband went to check out The Consumer Electronic Show today...It is the largest Consumer technology tradeshow in the World....which is not open to the public, but we'll give you a peek!

Happy New Year everyone! I can't believe it's already 2009.....I wish you ALL a Safe, Happy and Prosperous New Year!......

Well, as you may already know, this year the "fireworks" on the Las Vegas Strip, was a "DUD"! ( I got that word from the local News) It was just awful.....you could barely see them...apparently last year, the fireworks came from the rooftops of the Casino's - this year, I assume to budget - the fireworks came from the street level, and everyone on the Strip could barely see it to enjoy it! There were so many complaints, calling into the local news, the reason, supposedly, they were afraid of possible fire on the rooftops???? Oh well.....
