It's funny....when I'm apart from my husband, I hear ......."French Music" - I guess because I have always been fascinated with France....and, there is one particular song, which is sung by Vanessa Paradis ( Johnny Depp's wife) , "La lune brille pour toi"....that I absolutely love - and I always find myself listening to...it is very Romantic, and echoes a sweetness and purity when you begin to fall in Love...
My first time in France, was in 2000 @ The Cannes Film Festival - I was on a Poster for a Film that a distribution company was trying to get pre-sales. It was a huge poster hanging in one of the showrooms @ The Carlton. Sadly, the Movie never made it...but, seeing myself on a huge poster was exciting....it was one of the most exciting times I experienced......I knew I would be back....
2 years later, I met my husband - who's family lives in Paris. The rest, as they say is...history...and now we have a Beautiful 3.5 yr. old daughter....and I still listen to Vanessa Paradis version ' La lune brille pour toi '......it brings warmth to my heart and my love for the French Culture...and My Husband...
